A closer look.
Located in the heart of Berlin's industrial landscape, Urban Spree stands as a bastion for raw, uncompromising sound and subcultural expression. The venue excels in hosting label showcases and record release parties that lean into the darker, more rhythmic corners of electronic and industrial music. Its character is defined by a sense of 'rhythm and ritual,' where the body is put under pressure by intense sonic performances. Whether it is hosting legendary EBM pioneers or emerging DIY projects, the room maintains a reputation for authenticity and high-energy live moments. It has become a vital alternative space in the city, often stepping in to host significant international acts in an intimate, gritty setting.
