The room

A closer look.

Frannz Club stands as a cornerstone of Berlin's cultural landscape, offering a multifaceted experience that shifts seamlessly between a leafy summer garden and a pulsating live room. Known for its ability to host 'high-transfer' shows moved from other prestigious venues, it maintains a reputation for intimacy and intensity. The programming is impressively eclectic, welcoming everything from international pop icons and dance-punk pioneers to local dream pop innovators. Whether it is the 'Die Schöne Party' series for adults or raw, soul-infused rock recordings, the venue provides a professional yet spirited backdrop for musical discovery. Its distinct character is defined by this blend of community-focused sing-alongs and high-profile touring acts. It remains a vital destination for those seeking both the latest hype and the comfort of a classic Berlin night out.

In their words

The room, from the crowd.

Frannz Club offers a versatile social environment that transitions from a relaxed summer beer garden with public screenings to an energetic indoor concert space. The venue is recognized for hosting adult-oriented dance parties and sing-along events that encourage high audience participation. While it provides an intimate setting for live performances, some high-energy shows are described as having a sense of 'escalation with drawbacks.'

The venue hosts a diverse array of talent ranging from rising hype acts like the boyband December 10 and Irish newcomers Cardinals to established veterans like Mitch Ryder and Fancy. Artists often use the space for significant milestones, such as album release parties or farewell tours, delivering everything from raw Detroit rock to dream pop. While most performances are celebrated for their energy, some legendary acts like The Rapture have received more nuanced critiques during their return sets.
